Tips for using BLOCK-IT* House Wrap:
• Store BLOCK-IT* in a clean, dry, covered area until installation.
• Use a sharp razor knife to cut BLOCK-IT*.
• Use a good quality C920 Class 25 caulk and/or flashing tape with acrylic or butyl adhesive for sealing windows, doors or penetrations.
• Roll all seam and flashing tapes after installation with a J-roller to ensure proper bonding.
• Limit UV exposure to 6 months.
• Use a release layer (building paper) when installing a product that could bond to BLOCK-IT® such as stucco.

What does this mean?

• GREENGUARD Certification ensures that a product has met some of the world’s most rigorous and comprehensive standards for low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into indoor air.
• The GREENGUARD Gold standard includes health based criteria for additional chemicals and also requires lower total VOC emissions levels to ensure that products are acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities. Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap comes with a 10-Year Limited Product Only Warranty.

Kimberly-Clark Corporation provides the following warranty to the owner of the Structure that is less than five (5) stories in height and in the United States only upon the terms and conditions set forth herein. This warranty is not transferrable and is only applicable to the original registered Owner of the Structure at the time of installation.

10-Year Limited Product Only Warranty:
Kimberly-Clark Corporation warrants to the Owner of the Structure for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase, that the Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap will meet the published Specifications and Characteristics of the Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap if installed in strict accordance to the Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap complete Installation Guidelines and in accordance with applicable building codes and accepted industry standards for each type of structure. Kimberly-Clark Corporation will provide replacement house wrap product and pay reasonable construction cost associated with reinstalling the defective house wrap.

Additional Limited Warranty Terms:
Repair of the Structure nor replacement of the Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap shall extend the limited warranty term and terms will always begin from the date of purchase of the Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap to which the 10-Year Limited Product Only Warranty applies.

10-Year Limited Product Only Warranty is only valid on Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap purchased and installed in the United States on or after March 31st, 2014.

As referenced herein, published “complete Installation Guidelines”, “Specifications” and “Characteristics” are only available at www.kimberly-clarkbuildingmaterials.com and in effect on the date of purchase of the Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap.

Under this 10-Year Limited Product Only Warranty, Kimberly-Clark Corporation will not have any liability for the repair, replacement or construction cost for more than the immediate area of damage and only replace the house wrap product and pay reasonable construction cost associated with reinstalling the defective house wrap only if damage is caused to the structure solely by the failure of the Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap and failure of the Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap is deemed within the published Specifications and Characteristics of the Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap.

10-Year Limited Product Only Warranty Will Not Cover Damage to The Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap or the Structure caused by or resulting from any of the following:

• Neglect, improper maintenance, mishandling, product modification, damage, vandalism or Acts or God.
• Any structure that is greater than five (5) stories.
• Any structure that is outside of the United States.
• Any foreign objects or agents that are used in installation that are outside of the Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap complete installation guidelines.
• Defects in the Structure or a component of the Structure.
• UV exposure of the Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap that is greater than the published specifications of Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap.

How To Make A Claim and Get Warranty Service:
All claims and service under this limited product warranty must be made in writing to Kimberly-Clark Corporation, 1400 Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell, GA 30076 Attention: Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap Technical Lead. All claims must be submitted within sixty (60) days after the initial discovery of any potential claim, and you must provide to Kimberly-Clark Corporation proof of purchase and of proper installation per the complete Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-It* House Wrap Installation Guidelines within the 10-Year Limited Product Warranty. Kimberly-Clark Corporation must be provided complete access to inspect the structure specified in the claim, recover samples, take pictures and complete any other investigation necessary to determine if the Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap failed as set forth herein. Failure to follow these procedures in reporting a claim will void this 10-Year Limited Product Only Warranty.

10-Year Limited Product Only Warranty Exclusion of Damages:
The sole liability by Kimberly-Clark Corporation under this warranty is limited only to the replacement of the defective house wrap caused solely by the failure of the Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap per the published specifications and characteristics as set forth herein. Kimberly-Clark Corporation shall not be liable in Tort or any contract or otherwise for any direct, incidental or consequential, exemplary, punitive or any other damages of any kind in connection with or relating to Kimberly-Clark BLOCK-IT* House Wrap including but not limited to property damage, loss of profits, loss of use or any breach of any express or implied warranty, lost revenue, personal injury or death.
