'Ticket to the Game'
The 4th annual KIMBERLY CLARK PROFESSIONAL* distributor conference and awards function aptly themed 'Ticket to the Game' was held on the 9th & 10th July 2009 at the Protea Hotel Wanderers & Wanderers Club.
Over 70 distributors from all over South Africa as well as other African countries were present. We had an notable program which included a global overview presented by KIMBERLY CLARK PROFESSIONAL*European Sales Director Jean Louis DeSanglier, a keynote address by former Manchester United and Kaizer Chiefs soccer star Gary Bailey titled: The road to 2010 Soccer World Cup. The next day we had talk by Christ Hart the Economist addressing the current Global Economic crisis and Greg McManus giving a talk on How to bring "Sustainability" into your business.
The formal awards function rewarded distributors with loyalty awards in categories ranging between 10 and 35 years, however it was the distributor of the year awards, judged on turnover and growth, which elevated the star performers who received their awards in the following categories:
- Small Category: Wetrok Honey
- Medium Category: Lou's Wholesalers
- Large Category: Prime Cleaning Cape Town
Overall, the aim of this conference was simply to continue with the philosophy of adding value to our customers, and judging by the feedback, we have succeeded in achieving this!
