1. KCP Loyal Incentive

During our 2007 Distributors Conference we introduced the KCP Loyal incentive programme designed for all distributors.

In November last year we announced the winners of the quarter 1 team incentive and handed out exciting prizes to the winning teams.

Team Loyale:
The criteria and objective of this part of the incentive programme is designed to ensure buy-in, participation and motivation for the extended sales team, also to ensure a profitable mix within every distributor’s offering.The distributor sales team achieving the highest sales volumes per category per quarter qualifies for the quarter incentive, based on minimum sales criteria.

Today we are happy to announce the programmes 2nd quarter team incentive winners.

3. What is happening?

3.1 Safety Launch Range Launch

KIMBERLY-CLARK PROFESSIONAL* will be introducing a full apparel range of KLEENGUARD* Safety Wear.

The KLEENGUARD* range takes safety to a whole new level providing protection, comfort and style as well as fulfilling the dual function of protecting the process from the person, and the person from the process.

The KLEENGUARD* range includes: apparel, gloves, eyewear and respirators, all designed with innovative material and cutting edge technology which enables workers to work safely and confidently in style. Workers are much more likely to avoid injuries if they’re wearing the right personal protective equipment (PPE).

They are also more likely to be in compliance with their PPE when it’s comfortable. Our range therefore encourages worker compliance and fewer injuries on the job.

We will launch 5 new KLEENGUARD* Apparel products in the first quarter of 2008, followed by KLEENGUARD* Gloves in the second quarter of 2008. The Eyewear and Respirator Range will follow later in the year.

3.2 Deep Cleaning Operation


One Hand Washes the Other (Izandla ziya gezana)


Operation Deep Clean was launched by KIMBERLY-CLARK PROFESSIONAL* and its partners in 2006. Through this initiative selected schools bathrooms are given a complimentary floor-to-ceiling deep clean.


We initially selected 10 schools to receive the deep cleans and this was increased to 60 schools in 2007. A benefit to schools is that they are able to maintain their bathrooms and further assistance is given through the donation of bath tissue and dispensers where needed.

This campaign aims to create a better understanding about the importance of hygiene, motivating and inspiring a generation of learners to adopt healthy hygiene habits in their everyday lives.

We took this further at the end of 2007, and asked 1000 learners to each design hand art, with a thank you message to KIMBERLY-CLARK PROFESSIONAL*. These pieces of art were then used as KCP’s end of year gift, thanking you for your support which in turn enables us to participate in initiatives such as operation deep clean.

The learners where excited to participate in the hand art competition and they gave their level best to produce the best art and at the end, winners were excited to receive their hard won prizes.
