The KIMTECH SCIENCE* KIMWIPES* Wipers story goes way back to World War II?
- When textiles were in short supply during WWII, Kimberly-Clark cellulose-based neck strips (sold to barber and beauty shops) were
used by optical grinders to clean lenses.
- They worked so well that they were eventually used to clean
bombsights on WWII aircraft.
- This material was later tested as a disposable industrial wiper –
and the rest is history!
