No Purchase Necessary. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. INTERNET ACCESS AND EMAIL ADDRESS REQUIRED.  This is an offer and does not imply that you have won a prize Odds of winning Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the entire promotion period.

 

This Sweepstakes is open only to laboratory professionals who are residents of the 50 United States, D.C. or Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec), 21 years of age or older. Employees and members of their immediate families and households of Sponsor Kimberly-Clark Global Sales, Inc. (Roswell, GA), its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, parents, advertising and promotion agencies, employees of Federal, state and local governments, and anyone involved in the production, development or handling of this Sweepstakes are not eligible.  SWEEPSTAKES IS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND IS VOID IN PUERTO RICO, QUEBEC AND WHERE PROHIBITED.  Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the One (1) Grand Prize is $250.

Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. ET on September 1, 2007 and ends at 12:59:59 p.m. ET on January 31, 2008.

 

HOW TO ENTER

Navigate the Internet to http://www.kcprofessional.com/us/mkt/kimtech/60th/Partygame.htm to be connected to the Cakinator landing page. Register and play the game. Each game play is an entry into the sweepstakes. Cakinator Game must be played by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on January 31, 2008, when the Sweepstakes ends.  All entries become the property of the Sponsor.  They will not be returned or acknowledged.  No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, or illegible entries or submissions, or failure or unavailability of Internet connections or electronic communications.  Entries are void if they are in whole or in part illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit, produced in error, or obtained through fraud or theft.  By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

 

PRIZEs/Odds of Winning

One (1) Grand Prize:   Bose® Wave Radio II (Approximate Retail Value $349.)

 

Odds of winning Grand Prize depend upon number of game plays during entire promotion period. Prizes may not be substituted or transferred. If any prize becomes unavailable, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Taxes and any expenses not listed above are responsibility of winner. Allow 6-8 weeks after validation for receipt or arrangement of receipt of prize. Winner must comply with his/her company’s policy regarding acceptance of Prize. Bose® is not a sponsor of this promotion.

The winners will be selected at random from all valid registrations and/or game plays during the entry period by an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on all aspects of the Sweepstakes. 

 

One (1) Grand prize winner will be selected at random from among all registered players/game plays on or about February 15, 2008 by the independent judging organization.  To be declared a winner, any Canadian resident selected will be required to correctly answer without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or other, a time limited mathematical question.  The question will be administered by telephone at a mutually convenient time.  Entrants agree to be bound by these Rules.  Potential winners will be notified by overnight express or regular mail and may be required to sign, notarize and return within 10 days of receipt to his/her address an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Prize and, except where prohibited, a Publicity Release.  Failure to comply when requested may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner.   All prize claims are subject to verification and compliance with the Official Rules.  If the prize winner declines the prize, an alternate winner will be selected at random from all remaining eligible entries.

 

Right to cancel or suspend sweepstakes

If for any reason the sweepstakes, including the online segment of the sweepstakes, is not capable of running as planned, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tampers with the entry process, and /or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes and select winner(s) from among all entries unaffected by the problem.

Sponsor reserves the right to use any and all information related to the sweepstakes, including information on entrants obtained through the sweepstakes (except for entrants from the State of Tennessee or Canada), for marketing purposes or any other purpose in accordance with its privacy policy set forth at www.kimtech.com, unless prohibited by law.
