“In the light of the recent communication from the Food Standards Agency regarding the use of Malachite Green in paper hand towels, Kimberly-Clark Professional Europe can confirm that it no longer uses Malachite Green in the manufacture of any of its paper hand towel products.
Malachite Green was previously used by Kimberly-Clark Professional as a component of the green dye used in the manufacture of green rolled and folded hand towels.
In July 2005, Malachite Green was removed from the formulation of the dye however, we do not recommend the use of our green dyed towels for food contact purposes.

How many batteries are needed to operate the dispenser? No batteries are needed to start and maintain the dispenser during its 60 days of operation, each refill comes with an integral fuel cell.
What is a fuel cell and how does it work in the KIMCARE* Continuous Air Freshener? Unlike a battery, which produces current, the fuel cell produces hydrogen. The hydrogen creates a pressure in the KIMCARE* Continuous Air Freshener refill chamber. The pressure activated by the cell continuously releases a precise dose of fragrance and neutralizers onto the emanator pad. Fragrance molecules and odor neutralizer are dispersed by the natural air movement within the room.
How big of an area does the system cover? The KIMCARE* Continuous Air Freshener covers up to 162m3 (3-4 stall restroom)
Are the dispensers expensive like the Aerosol and Gel air freshening dispensers? The KIMCARE* Continuous Air Freshener dispensers are a much smaller investment versus the aerosol and gel air freshening dispensers.
What’s the difference between this and the air care products that are out in the market already? Most current Air Care offerings in the market do not offer the continuous fragrance level that the KIMCARE* Continuous Air Freshener option does. For instance the Aerosol products in the market last around 5 to 10 minutes and quickly dissipates. The refills last 30 days. The gel air fresheners in the market also show significant drop off in intensity before their 30 day refill period. The KIMCARE* Continuous Air Freshener option emits a steady amount of fragrance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a 60 day period.
What are the target customers for this product? Virtually all segments are potential customers that need to deal with those unavoidable odors, which you can penetrate with this product. Any washroom that using an air freshening system or that is not. The system is reliable, low maintenance and has a small investment versus other systems in the market.
How many fragrances and dispenser option are there? There are two fragrance options, Ocean and Forest and one white Dispenser.
What is the product shelf life? 2 years.
Is the system environmental friendly? The system requires no batteries. The product is a pure fragrance and therefore does not require any propellants or CFC’s.
A battery operated, wall mounted dispenser for use with KCP Air care refills.
The dispenser is programmable by the user to give maximum flexibility in delivery of the fragrance within the washroom. The programs allow the dispenser to deliver 3000 sprays over a 30, 60 or 90 day period to allow regular changing of refills by the service personnel.
The unit has an easily visible LCD display which gives an instant update on the battery life, and days left for the refill.
Once programmed, the dispenser delivers a single dose of fragrance from the air care refill on a calculated time interval which allows the dispenser to finish the refill in the selected run out of 30, 60, 90 days and according to the mode of operation.
The selectable modes are 24 hour operation, 8 hours on/16 hours off, 12 hour on/12 hour off, 16 hours on/8 hours off. The dispenser can also be programmed to have a maximum of 2 days per week with the unit not spraying (i.e. over the weekend).

The dispenser delivers a single dose of fragrance from the air care refill on a fixed time interval which is selected by the user; the user can also decide to switch the dispenser off when the lights are off if longer refill life is required. The performance of the fragrances are designed to fragrance rooms up to 90 cubic metres, but this will be subject to the malodours, air flow and usage. Thus the time interval may need to be altered to suit the room.
