ENHANCED HYGIENE STANDARDS WITH KIMBERLY-CLARK PROFESSIONAL SYSTEMS |
|
In the UK alone an estimated 5.5 million people a year are affected by food poisoning, and this is rising year on year. As a result, the demand in the hotel and restaurant sector for products that improve hygiene has increased dramatically. Kimberly-Clark Professional offer some of the most cost effective and productive cleaning solutions for highest end-user hygiene. Kimberly Clark’s disposable paper products, have been recommended by the Food Standards Agency and the World Health Organisation to help prevent cross contamination. For instance, Kimberly Clark’s WYPALL® L20 Roll Control Dispenser system presents the user with one sheet at a time, thereby cutting the risk of inadvertent cross-contamination. Kimberly Clark’s reusable wiper product, the WYPALL® X80 cloths, have been developed to provide greater absorbency and strength, enabling the user to complete tough tasks such as cleaning grills, ovens and sinks, using fewer cloths. WYPALL® X80 cloths are made from HYDROKNIT® material, developed by Kimberly-Clark Professional, which is manufactured using jets of water to bond soft, absorbent paper fibres to extra strong polypropylene non-woven fabric. This means that the WYPALL® X80 cloths offer fast absorption and tear-resistance, so that users can feel confident when dealing with tough wiping tasks. The result is that each cloth gives exceptional performance and cost control for specifiers, as well as increased productivity for users. To improve hygiene, the WYPALL® X80 cloths are produced in a range of colours as recognised colour coding helps to minimise the dangers of cross-contamination and infection. So, for example, blue cloths can be used to wipe tables in the restaurant, red cloths for surfaces in the kitchen and green cloths for wiping the floor. The WYPALL® X80 cloths can be used during an entire shift and then thrown away – helping to keep bacteria at bay. |
